Research on Bi-doped glasses among most-cited papers of J. Non.-Cryst. Solids

One of our recent manuscripts on Bi-doped glasses has been highlighted among the top 25 papers (out of 3.300) of the Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids which have received the most citations since 2008. In the paper, we discuss the nature of ultrabroad near-infrared photoluminescence from Bi-doped glasses and crystals, a topic which is presently of sigificant interest due to the potential of such materials as broadband optical amplifiers or fiber laser sources.
